OCYF sponsored a NYTD Update webinar presented by Hornby Zeller Associates and the Child Welfare Resource Center. This session was mandatory for NYTD Coordinators as well as any staff assisting in NYTD data collection/submission. The presentation includes the following information:

NYTD Overview:

  • Purpose of NYTD
  • Baseline, follow-up, served populations
  • Year-to-year chart showing baseline and follow-up survey periods
  • FFY 2018 Follow-ups:

    • FFY 2018 follow-up status
    • What we need (and have been needing) from counties for FFY 2018 follow-up surveys
    • What happens if the state does not hit a 60% response rate

    FFY 2019 Follow-ups:

    • A new round of follow-ups start October 1, 2018 (these are 19-year-old follow-ups from 2017 baseline cohort)
    • What we will need from counties for FFY 2019 and timeframes

    IL Service Data:

    • Ongoing, every period
    • Timeframes for submitting 2018B service data in early October
    • Can enter data in GetNYTD or submit Excel file via SeGov
