Bridge FAQs

Below are some of the most common questions we receive about Bridge. Be sure to check out the user guides and videos for more detailed information. If you still can't find an answer to your question, contact us at BridgeHD@pitt.edu.




 

  1. Go to www.Bridge.Pitt.edu and select "Register for an Account". Fill out the fields and select "Submit Registration" and you will receive your username and password.

  1. Go to www.Bridge.Pitt.edu and login with your credentials. On the left-hand side of your screen, select the "User Profile" icon and update your information as appropriate. Make sure to select "Save and Continue" at the bottom of each screen to save your information.

  1. Go to www.Bridge.Pitt.edu and on the left-hand side of your screen, click the "User Profile" icon

  2. select "Save and Continue" at the bottom of the "Personal Contact" screen.

  3. You should now be on the "Employment" screen. You can change the agency that you are affiliated with within the "Agency Affiliation" section (see screenshot below). Make sure you select the correct agency so you do not experience any delays in getting your account approved.

  2. On the left-hand side of your screen, select the "System Settings" icon

  3. select the bell icon at the top of the screen.


  4. Make sure your information is correct as this is how we contact you if there is a cancellation or change.

  1. Go to www.Bridge.Pitt.edu select "Forgot Username and/or Password". You will be asked for the email address associated with your account and your username and/or password will be emailed to that account.

  1. Yes we do! Go to http://www.pacwrc.pitt.edu/bridge.htm to view the videos and user guides.

  1. select "User Profile"

  2. select "Certificates & Workshops"


  3. select "My Workshops"

  4. select the "View Certificate" icon


  5. To download or print the certificate, click the appropriate icon:


**If you are employed by a county agency, please check with your agency liaison to find out what your agency's self-registration policy is. Some agencies do not allow their staff to self-register for workshops and the agency liaison is responsible for registering their staff**.

  1. If your agency allows you to self-register for a workshop (see note above), go to www.Bridge.Pitt.edu and login with your username and password.

  2. select the "Registration icon" on the left-hand side of your screen.


  3. Use the search fields at the top of the screen to find the workshop.


  4. When you find the workshop that you would like to register for, select "Register" (see screenshot below)

  2. Use the search fields at the top of the screen to find the workshop.

  3. select the title of the workshop (see below) to view the details of the workshop and see if there is any pre-work that you need to complete before the workshop starts


  4. If there is any pre-work that you need to complete, you will see it in the "Pre-Work" section.


  1. select the "Registration" icon on the left-hand side of your screen.

  2. Use the search fields at the top of the screen to find the workshop.

  3. select the title of the workshop (see below).


  4. Click "Cancel Registration"


If you did not receive an email notification when you registered for a workshop, please check your spam/junk email folder. You may also want to check that your contact information in Bridge is correct.

  1. Go to www.Bridge.Pitt.edu and login with your credentials.

  2. On left-hand side of your screen, select the "System Settings" icon

  3. select the bell icon at the top of the screen.


  4. Make sure your information is correct as this is how we contact you.

  1. select the "User Profile" icon

  2. select "Certificates & Workshops"

  3. select "My Certifications".

  4. The green progress bar and the percentage next to it shows how far along the track you are. If you have completed the track, you will see a blue ribbon (see 2 below) and a 100%. If you have completed the track, you can view, print, or download the certificate by clicking on the "My Certificate" link (see 3 below)

  1. Yes, there is! select the "Workshops" icon to see everything you are registered for in that calendar month. If you would like to see any workshops that are scheduled for during a particular month, select "Event Availability" in the top right of the screen (see screenshot below)


  1. Contact your agency's training liaison and check what your agency's self-registration policy is. Some agencies do not allow their staff to self-register for a workshop and prefer that the training liaison perform this task for them.

  1. Go to the "User Profile" area and double check your "Personal Contact" information, specifically the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields. If you are still having an issue, please contact the Bridge team at BridgeHD@pitt.edu.
